CLIMB
Creative
Learning In
Moving Bodies
This one hour class will incorporate creative movement, music, and gross motor activities. The class is structured for kids with special needs but siblings and friends are encouraged to enroll! There will be fun for everyone!
The instructor and co instructor are both therapists currently with Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic's discrete trial program (ABA) for children with autism. The instructor also has professional dance experience and has been teaching dance/movement to children ages 3 and up for the past 10 years. Class size is limited to ensure individual instruction and a personalized learning experience.
Goals of CLIMB
* To create a fun
and stimulating environment that increases a child's motivation to learn and
explore
* To compliment a
child's pre-existing therapeutic support system by incorporating current individual
goals and targets into our classroom.
* To increase self-
regulation skills and successful social interaction by combining therapeutic
techniques based on Applied Behavioral Analysis and sensory integration with
creative movement and movement based activities.
Classes Offered
Tuition is $50.00 for the 5 week session

fit a variety of abilities.
